orean is one of those very few languages which are developed after a well research. It is one of those very few scientific languages of the world.
Korean script is widely enriched by Chinese language and same philosophy extends itself to the way the words are structured in Korean Language. Korean language and script has an element of symmetry and balance. Every up is countered by a down and every left is countered by a right. Every sound has the affect on the other sound and the final sound is very scientific always.
1. Every syllable in a word starts with a consonant and then is followed by a vowel.
2. No syllable ever starts with a vowel, and if the sound has to be that of vowel, then the required vowel will start with consonant “?”, which is in turn has a neutral sound. Example “??” Milk
3. No vowel is written without a consonant. And if necessary, as mentioned in the above point it may accompany a neutral consonant “?”.
Characters in Korean languages are combination of consonants and vowels. The symmetry of characters is very important and they come in a sequence of C+ V+C i.e. A character starts with Consonant and then is followed by a verb and if necessary it ends in a consonant.
(C) + V + (CC)
First consonant Middle vowe final consonant (coda)
Vowels and consonants are placed at 2 different positions in relation to the each other. As we have said the complete sound of a character needs combination of different consonants and vowels, so if needed it will end in a vowel or in a consonant.
If one character has three alphabets then the last one will be a consonant always and it will come after a vowel and that too it will come in the last of the character.
Example:
1. Two character syllable: ? (c+v)
2. Three character syllable: ? (c + v + c)
3. Special Type (four character syllable): ? (c+v+cc)
In Korean script independent vowels are expressed by the combination of sign “?” ( a neutral sound in itself) and a vowel such as ? ,? ,? etc.
